On this page

An App brings another service into Enlivy. It adds its own pages and menu points, and widgets on pages you already use, such as the dashboard.

This guide explains how to install an App in your organization and manage it afterwards. You need a role that manages the organization’s Apps.

Open the Apps page

In your organization’s menu, open Settings → Apps.

Installed in this organization lists the Apps you have. Available to install lists the ones you can add.

Install an App

Open an App from Available to install. Its page shows what the App may read and change in your organization. Review it, then install the App.

Connect an account

Some Apps work with your account at their own service. When the App asks for one, press Connect an account and sign in there.

Its pages and widgets then show your data.

See what it adds

The App’s page lists what it brings, under What it adds:

  • Pages, each with an Open button. They also appear in your menu.
  • Widgets, which you place with Add to the dashboard.

Pause or remove it

Under Pause or remove:

  • Suspend stops the App from reaching your data. Nothing is deleted, and Resume brings it back.
  • Remove takes the App out of your organization, with its pages, menu points and widgets. You can install it again later.

Requests to install

A developer can ask your organization to install an App they built. Their request waits on the Apps page, under Requests to install. Choose Review and install or Decline.
