Enlivy allows you to securely connect your bank accounts using PSD2-compliant Open Banking technology.
Once connected, your transactions can be synchronized automatically, helping you eliminate manual imports and keep your financial data up to date.
This guide explains how to connect an existing bank account to your financial institution and start syncing transactions.
Open the Bank Accounts page
From the Enlivy dashboard, navigate to Settings → Accounting → Bank Accounts.
This page displays all bank accounts configured for your organization.
Start linking a bank account
Click + Add Bank Account in the upper-right corner. From the dropdown menu, select Link Bank Account Data.
Disable your ad blocker
Before continuing, make sure any AdBlock or similar browser extension is disabled.
Because the bank authorization process opens a secure external window, ad blockers may prevent it from loading correctly.
If an ad blocker is detected, Enlivy will display a warning asking you to disable it. After disabling your ad blocker, reload the page and continue.
Choose your bank
Enlivy will display a list of supported financial institutions. Use the search box or browse the list to find your bank.
Examples include:
- Revolut
- Wise
- PayPal
- Stripe
- ING
- Banca Transilvania
- BRD
- Raiffeisen Bank
- Airwallex
- Skrill
Each institution also displays the maximum amount of transaction history that can be imported.
Select your bank to continue. In this guide, we’ll use Revolut as the example.
Authorize the connection
You’ll be redirected to your bank’s secure authorization page.
Review the requested permissions, then click Agree and Continue.
This allows Enlivy to securely access your transaction history using Open Banking. Enlivy never stores your banking credentials.
Sign in to your bank
Log in using your normal online banking credentials.
The exact login process depends on your bank and may include additional security steps such as two-factor authentication.
In this example, we’re signing in to Revolut.
Select the accounts to share
After successfully signing in, your bank will display all available accounts.
Choose the accounts you want Enlivy to access, then click Authorize. Only the selected accounts will be available for synchronization.
Configure the synchronization
After authorization, you’ll be redirected back to Enlivy.
For every connected bank account, you’ll need to configure how it should be synchronized.
- Link Bank Account
- Choose the Enlivy bank account that should receive transactions from the connected bank account. This creates a one-to-one connection between your real bank account and the bank account you've created inside Enlivy. For example, if you've already created a Primary Account (RON) in Enlivy, you should link your Revolut RON account to it. Accounts you don't want to synchronize can remain Unlinked.
- Sync From
- Choose the date and time from which Enlivy should begin importing transactions — only future transactions, the last 30 days, or several months of history. The available history depends on your bank.
In our example, we linked only the RON account because that’s the only account we wanted to synchronize.
After reviewing the settings, click Save Changes.
Bank account connected
After saving the configuration, you’ll return to the Bank Accounts dashboard.
The linked account will now display an Integration badge showing the connected provider.
In our example, the account displays Revolut Paired, confirming that the synchronization has been configured successfully.
From this point onward, Enlivy will automatically synchronize transactions from the linked account.
